Global Iodine Deficiency Awareness Programme

The Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Department Of Biotechnology, Enviro -Club organized the Global Iodine Deficiency Awareness Programme on 25^th October 2017. The programme was organized in Collaboration with Ministry of Women & Child Development, Food & Nutrition Board-Community food and Nutrition Extension Unit. The Chief Guest for the programme was Dr.(Mrs).Usha Rani from the Food & Nutrition Board. Three events were conducted on the theme, it includes Rally, Quiz competition, and poster display. Around 100 students participated in the events. The prizes were distributed to the winners by Dr. (Mrs). Usha Rani, Dr. V.J. Philip, Deputy Director Academics and Dr.S. Thirumagan, Principal, Hindustan College of Arts & Science. The perfect support was rendered by Dr. S. Illanjium, Dean of Life Sciences. The convener for programme was Dr. Elizabeth Rani Junieus, HOD-Biotechnology. The entire programme was  Co-ordinated by Dr. T. Ramesh, Assistant Professor, Enviro club Co-ordinator, Department of  Biotechnology, Hindustan College of Arts & Science. The programme was a Splendid Success.
